The party had a long rest at Camp Vengeance. When they woke, they were instructed to tend to the sick and bring them back to Port Nyanzaru. Kornelijus and Žvirblis managed to heal most of them, avoiding the trip back, but the Camp Captain then ordered them to go on a ten-day patrol east, where most of the undead were coming from.

They set out with the guard, uncovering areas not yet mapped by the Guild. Along the way, Tuna noticed several dinosaurs trying to climb a tree. Curious, Sara, with the help of Spider Climb from Ezra, climbed up and found a dead body with a ring on its finger. She slipped it on and quickly realized the dinosaurs had begun to follow her. The party pressed east for two more days, with the pair of dinosaurs trailing behind.
Soon after, they discovered a cave inhabited by monkeys that assaulted them with psychic visions. After clearing out the cave, they came across another maze. Solving it led them to a hidden chamber containing a fountain that granted temporary HP when drunk from. That night, they dreamed of a city beside a great waterfall spilling into a lake of lava. As the water cooled, it formed small islands which, when viewed from above, resembled the number 74.

The next day, as they continued their journey, and met a giant sentient crane that offered to buy any shiny things they had. The guide said that these creatures are not to be trusted so the party turned down its invitation to its home village for more trading.

Some time later, they heard a massive horde of creatures ahead. They tried to hide, but a stroke of bad luck gave them away. Noise carried, and soon the party found themselves facing a wave of zombies rushing toward them.
